NIMO beta

Privacy note

NIMO is run by Jae Yim (Gtek, Philippines). This note explains what happens to the answers you give, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

What we collect when you sign up

Your first name, email, Facebook or Instagram name, and your answers to the questions. From your answers the site works out which level of the guide fits you (Level 1, 2 or 3).

While you fill in the questions, your answers are kept as a draft in your own browser, so a refresh doesn't lose them (cleared once you send them). After you send them, your browser keeps a small note of your level and whether we may message you, and the guide keeps your ticks and setup there too. That stays on your device, and clearing your browser's data removes it.

When you use the guide

A small cookie on your device (for up to 14 days) keeps the guide open there. When you open the guide we note when, and whether you came from the Start button or from the link in your email, to see if the guide reaches people.

We save your progress to your record: which steps you've done, and for each reel you ship its raw and finished length and the minutes it took.

Your videos and photos are never uploaded. Your phone only reads how long a video is, and your Shipped card is made on your phone.

Only if you choose to

  • Shipped wall: the name you pick, the link to your own post, your hook, your card numbers, what you made it with and your brief choices. Once Jae approves it, your entry is public on the Shipped wall for anyone to see. If you tick “Jae may repost it”, he may also share it on his Stories, tagging you. You can take it down any time.
  • 1:1 call: the time you pick and your answers to Jae's questions.
  • Level 2 waitlist: your place on it.

If you tick the optional “I agree” when you ask for a 1:1 call, Jae may screen record that call, take screenshots and use them in his posts and marketing. Without the tick, he won't.

Deleting it

“Delete my progress” in the guide deletes your progress, Shipped wall entries, call requests and waitlist place at once. We keep your sign-up, the date you first opened the guide (so your 30 days aren't restarted), and how often and when you opened it.

If there's no activity from you for 12 months (no sign-up, guide visit, step, reel, wall entry, call request or waitlist change), a daily clean-up deletes your progress, wall entries, call requests and waitlist place on its own.

Why we keep it

To decide who to invite to the free NIMO beta, and to make the setup guide fit people like you.

Who sees it

Your sign-up, progress and call details: only Jae Yim, in his own private dashboard and in his own business system (NEO), where he can add a private note and track whether he has messaged you. We don't sell or share it, and we don't use trackers or ads. (Your Shipped wall entry is the one thing that's public, and only if you send one.)

The services that run the site handle it for us: Supabase (where answers are stored), Cloudflare (the site and the check that you're not a bot) and Google Gmail (sends your guide link). To stop spam, we keep a scrambled code made from your network address and email for about 2 days (old codes are cleared as new ones come in); it can't be turned back into either.

Page visits

We count how many times the sign-up page is opened and how many people tap Start, as plain daily totals. No cookies, no addresses, nothing tied to you.

How long, and your rights

We keep your sign-up until the beta ends plus 6 months, unless you join NIMO; Jae deletes them by hand at that point. You can see, correct or delete your answers: message Jae Yim on Facebook, or reply to any email we send you, and we'll do it.
